Templates in PageBuilder

If you're in marketing, you will have created many landing pages. There's a landing page for everything. We can boil down your requirements to some major points. Thus, the idea of templates are born.

Template caveats

• We often think of templates as standardized/locked content where we can only edit some sections. Templates are content that you can copy and then edit.
• The only place to create templates is the PageBuilder interface. You can only view templates in Content > Templates.
• Once you create a template, you cannot edit it.
• Applying a template to a PageBuilder area means you clean out all existing code.

Template uses

• Create a template for each type of landing page. Make sure to properly label them. Ideally, include a version with the date.

Creating a new template

• Navigate to a product or a page.
• Make your changes.
• Save as Template.

You can then click Apply Template at any time.
